Generic Helpers in EF 6.1 – Code First

I need to write a Generic Context Base Helper in Entity Framework. I’m currently building it using a RawConnection as provided here:
HELPER = RawConnection.GetBase(ConnectionString);

This worked fine when we had a ContextBase and EntityObjectBase. I want to apply the same pattern with DBFirst as provided in this example:
DataContext dbContext = new DataContext();
// EF Helper
IConnection conn = dbContext.Connection;

But we need the Helper generic to work with DbContext as opposed to IQueryable.
Is there something like this being provided already or I’ll need to be using Code First and not DB First?

You can use base.GetDbConnection() to get the raw connection from DbContext.
And following is the definition of GetDbConnection:
public abstract TEntity GetDbConnection(ConnectionString name);

Here TEntity is the DbContext you got.

How to get current nashville geo coordinates?

I’m working with a geocoding API that returns a latitude and longitude for Nashvill when I request I get the below json
“type”: “Feature”,
“id”: “48930198”

If I change the city name to San Francisco the following json is returned:
“type”: “Feature”,
“id”: “47252321”

It looks like this only works with cities that have a population of under 5 million but in this example, nashville is a city with a population of 2.1 million.
Is it possible to modify the request from to get the same json I get when requesting the API
